In 2006, Carlsberg Hungary took over the distribution of Tuborg from Dreher brewery and launched the energy drink Battery - produced by Sinebrychoff in Finland. Carlsberg Hungary further strengthened its premium beer portfolio in 2008 with the Kronenbourg brand and in 2010 with a distribution agreement for Budweiser Budvar (Budějovicky Budvar) in Hungary.
