Cambrew is the first brewery in the Kingdom & one of the largest brewers in Southeast Asia. Operating since the early 1960s as commissioned by the Cambodian Government, the brewery uses modern European standards and is proud to be part of the larger Carlsberg Group, headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, which incorporates high standards, culture and excellence throughout the entire production chain. The brewery was strategically built in Preah Sihanoukville because its clear spring water was the best water source in the country.
By 1965, the brewery was fully operational and was officially inaugurated by His Royal Highness Prince Norodom Sihanouk. The company offers various range of consumer choices in well-known beers brands, including many international premium brands such as Carlsberg, a top international beer brand and national brands – the iconic Angkor Premium Beer, a leading national brand recognized by Cambodians by its slogan ‟My Country, My Beer″. Since 1992, Cambrew has been granted exclusive rights by Pepsi Co. to manufacture and distribute beverages in the Kingdom of Cambodia, including Pepsi, Mirinda, 7-Up, & Sting.
