The Pirinsko brewery was founded in 1967 in the city of Blagoevgrad. Ever since 1971, the brewery has been producing the Pirinsko brand. In 2002, the Pirinsko brewery became part of the Carlsberg Group. Through Carlsberg's considerable investments in brewing facilities and development of the employees, Pirinsko became a growing brand with a distinctive fresh taste and invariable quality.

Pirinsko Lager is a refreshing pale lager with a well-balanced bitterness, fine hops aroma and a light amber colour. This beer is a thirst quencher and complements a wide variety of dishes well.
